My Training...no laughing!

I track my training on Active.com as well as put a widget for DailyMile on my sidebar to track my miles for 2011. So I think I will be focusing this page on training resources and workouts so I have a place to write down what works and doesn't work.

12/28/10: 20 minute Jillian DVD - cardio, strength, abs

11/15/10: 10.25 miles in 2 hours (need to still figure out the fuel thing. Used Vanilla Hammer Gel Shot, a little thick, good taste, but think it did "sometin'" to my stomach after the run. Got to watch What Happens In Vegas and the football game. (Cameron Diaz's body inspires me...and so does Ashton...meeeeoooowww!!)

11/13/10: 60 min. elliptical, core work

11/11/10: 2 mile run 25 mins. and 1 hour Chisel'd class (Class was ok, but the sandwhich workout from can't remember the blogger's name, is way better)

11/10/10: Was totally set on going to get in a run of some sort and got food poisoning again. OK, so I have discovered it's not food poisoning as much as my body totally flat out saying "suk it" to MSG and Sulfate preservatives. Yep, that's what an organic lifestyle gets ya!

11/8/10: WAHOOOO...9 miles in 1 hour 40 minutes. Finally got in my long run on the Precor treadmill at Anytime Fitness. Love the Cardio Theatre, watched Kung Fu Panda and the football game. PS> Don't like Hammer Gummies! They are ok tasting and I like the texture, but no good for the tummy! Slowly drank gatorade during run and finished run with chocolate milk: YUMMEE!

11/5/10: Reformer Pilates class and 60 min. Plyometric Sandwich workout...F'ing great. But I can't remember who's blog I got it from darn it!! Great strength training for my runner's legs!! Yeah, me!

11/4/10: 5 mile Trail run with the Bitch to a crazy place in the boonies. Let's just say...very rocky terrain, barb wire fences, and sagebrush were all aplenty! Needless to say it got dark before we made it home, so the Bitch made me call Yummee to come and get us...I swear!

11/2/10: 4.8 miles run/walk....a phone call from a friend in need and then losing my truck key...sometimes I think I am cursed to not get in a long run. Didn't get to start until 5:15pm because of working late. Oh well, still a beautiful run. Warmed up at about the 2.5 mile mark and felt steady. 1 hour 8 minutes

10/31 and 11/1: rest

10/30/10: 8K
57 suckee minutes

10/28 and 10/29: Food poisoning...yuckee

10/27/10:
1 mile run 1 mile walk - still not feeling well

10/24, 10/25, 10/26 sick

10/23/10:
2.5 mile walk/run because Shante went with and she was not feeling well

10/22/10:
55 minutes of Pilates

10/21/10:
Speed Work: 20 minute jog, 3x1600 at push-it pace with 2 mins. recover and 15 minute cool-down jog

10/20/10:
Shopped for 3 hours in heels...what it counts!! I had to lug the stuff around

10/19/10:
7 miles in 75 minutes

10/18/10:
1 mile jog
45 minutes Stationary Bike

10/14/10:
55 minutes of Pilates

10/13/10:
Dang it, fell asleep after work(figures since I don't sleep very well at night) and didn't get up in time for run. I suck!!

10/12/10:
4.22 miles on TM for 60 minutes, average pace 4.5 and included incline up to 5. I think the program is called Trailblazer. That's the only thing I like about running on a treadmill. It actually helps me train better by controlling my pace and intervals. But long runs definitely need to be done outside.

10/11/10 on Trail:
Had good intentions of running 5 miles but came home late from work so only got in 1.5 miles as it got dark quick and all the bushes were starting to look like bears...this is not good.

10/10/10 on Trail:
Evening walk with the kids. Still recuperating from Birthday bash!

10/08/10 on Trail:
10:00am only ran 1.33 miles but tried to run at a good pace to make up for lack of mileage.
