Races...Good or Bad!!

Upcoming:

March 12, 2011: Washoe(s) After Run 5.25 Miler - Trail Race

May 2011: Rock N River 1/2 Marathon (no longer doing, a motorcycle run takes precedence over a runrun)

Past:

Feb. 12, 2011: Love Can Be Cold 5-6 Miler - Trail Race
34 minutes

Jan. 15, 2011: Centennial Slug It Out 10K - Trail Race (Didn't run - didn't want to :)~

Dec. 11, 2010: Running with Rudolph 10K - Trail Race (Didn't run - knee)

Dec. 5, 2010: Las Vegas Rock N Roll 1/2 Marathon **MY FIRST** - read post from 12/28/10...it's too much to post here.
2 hours 37 minutes *Garmin time

Nov. 25: Run and Walk Against Hunger 10K

1 hour 3 minutes 37 seconds

Nov. 20: Cold Turkey Run - 4 miles of trail (can't wait, haven't done a trail race yet)

Oct. 30: Nevada Day Classic 8K Run - Not feeling great...a sucky 57 mins. I even did an Espresso GU (I think I like the Strawberry/Banana better) and stopped at both water stations. Didn't have to pee...that's a good thing.

Oct. 3, 2010: Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 5K (non-timed) - Ran with both kids but mainly stayed with "Princess PITA". It took several minutes to get to the start, but finished at around 42 minutes. Parking was crazy as this was the first year at the Boomtown location, so luckily we planned to get their early and made it in enough time to register and check out the venue. It was rainy but no wind and didn't really start pouring until the end. This is a great short race....and it's always great to see men wear pink!!

May 2, 2010: RockNRiver Reno 10K, 1/2, and Marathon - Ran the 10K by myself but the familia and I stayed at the El Dorado so that I would be bright eyed and bushy tailed for the race. I didn't sleep much though the night before. This was my very first race, so I was anxious and nervous. It was an absolute beautiful morning. However, note to self; If I use the Garmin in future races, make sure to turn it on way ahead of time in order for it to locate the satellites. I wasn't able to track my time or pace as it didn't actually come on until after the race was over. But I kicked ass (for me) at 1 hour 2 minutes.
